Tina wuchs in Riga auf, wo der Sommer ungefähr fünf Minuten dauert – und trotzdem entschied sie sich für Beachvolleyball. Mit 18 Jahren gewann sie bereits europäische Junioren Titel und packte ihre Koffer für die Weltbühne.
